I know what it feels like to be completely alone in it.

I'm Emma. When I was in an abusive relationship, I felt isolated, ashamed, and convinced that no one would understand — or believe me. I didn't have the words for what was happening. I just knew something was very wrong, and I felt entirely on my own with it.

That loneliness was one of the hardest parts. And it's why I created The Safe Space Place. Because no one should have to sit with this alone, quietly wondering if they're the problem, too embarrassed to speak up, too exhausted to explain.

This is a place where you don't have to explain yourself. Where you can say the messy, complicated, hard-to-admit things — and be met with understanding instead of judgement. A community of women who just get it, because they've been there too.
